Millennia Elementary School Reviews

Millennia is a great school! The faculty and staff are really centered on helping the students to learn as much as they can.

Millennia ELementary is a school I feel is safe and secure for parents and the students. The teachres really care about the school and the administration is visible and my child loves the principal. As a parent I feel informed and secure about what is happening in my child's school. I love the motto of 'Together We Can Make A Difference!'

My son started there for Pre-K and he is now in K..Luckily he got the same teacher he had in Pre-K now in K.. she is awesome. Go Ms. Wahl!!!! She keeps him challenge.. she let us know when there is a problem and she responds to our concerns or messages. The staff however is not very reliable.. Most of the time they do not know the answers to questions we ask.. basic questions. The principal does call often when there is an event or issue at the school and we get regular updates.. overal I am very satisfied with the work he is doing.. But much credit to his teacher..

This is the 2nd year my son attends Millenia and I think it's great..they have a great Extended day program that allows me to be flexible at work. His teachers have all showed a great deal of interest in his education and the principal has always been available when I needed her. Way to go Millenia!

I have repeatedly called and visited this school trying to set up a meeting to discuss my grandson's needs, only to be told someone would get back with me right away. So far, right away has never come. I have found this school to be very parent unfriendly and communication to be next to nil. His teacher seems to be nice and she has responded to my emails, but none of the other staff can be bothered. Parents apparently are not able to have lunch with their children without a background check and once when I asked to accompany my grandson to his classroom to check with the teacher about something, I was told that was not possible. This is so opposite of the other schools that he and my other family members have attended, where I felt welcome and part of the learning process.

Interesting that the school is located right off of Vineland Rd ... A four-lane, divided collector roadway. A 20 MPH school speed zone does exist on Vineland Road for the school. However, the school zone is regulated by signs only WITHOUT the emphasis of flashing yellow lights. It would be a significant safety improvement if the yellow flashing lights were installed on the existing signs.
