Eagle's Nest Elementary School Reviews
Quality Score: 5 Post Date:2008-05-28
“My child attends Eagles Nest Elementary School. If you want to see a hard working and caring Principal & Staff, send your child to this school. The atmosphere for learning has done wonders to improve my child's abilty to learn and get along with others. The curriculum is not watered down but rigorous and relevant to meeting my childs' needs. Because of the supportive staff at this school, my child is reading at/above grade level. This was truly a tremendous task and some how they got the job done. This 'A' school works very hard to ensure that education is important to every child that attends. If you as a parent are willing to support your child and the school, the sky is the limit for your child to achieve academically and socially. The staff there is diverse as they come. Excellent job of hiring quality staff by the Principal.” This review was posted by a parent.

“My child attended this school for this first 3 years this school was open. The first year was great, then the principal changed. The lower grade teachers seemed to really care about their students and getting them to do their best. However once they hit the upper grades the students write profanity on the walls, they have NO respect for teachers...maybe that is why so many teachers leave each year....if you want your child to have a stable elementary career, this is not the place. There are only a few teachers left from when it first opened 4 years ago. I have to give those teachers credit for sticking with it, however, I also can't blame the other teachers for leaving. The office staff is rude and administration lets the students run the school.” This review was posted by a parent.

“My child went to this school last year. She is now in Middle school and I wish this school went to 8th grade. The Principal works extremely hard to prepare them for the FCAT and all testing. My child won several academic awards there and wishes she could go back. The staff do care and safety is their focus. The school she attends now is does not match in excellence as far as staff and test preparation.” This review was posted by a parent.

“I have three children who attend Eagle's Nest Elementary and I am very happy with their learning progress. They both have made exceptional gains in their reading and math thanks to the dedicated teachers at this school. I also am an active volunteer and I attend all the PTA meetings and sponsored events which are always fun and very creative for my children (Spring Dance, movie day, etc...). The Principal, really cares about the children and the community and that is shown everyday when she greets you in the morning when you drop your children off to school and in the afternoon when she places them in the car. My son told me she even does lunchroom duty to help out around the school. So if you want a public school that focus on the whole child, academics and extracurricular, then Eagle's Nest is definitely the place.” This review was posted by a parent.

“This is an excellent school which tracks the progress of every student. All teachers do a wonderful job educating the minds of our youth. Due to the outstanding administrative staff and quality teachers, all students are making gains.” This review was posted by a teacher.
