Lakeville Elementary School Reviews

I am very impressed with the administration and how they address concerns of parents. However, I do feel they need teacher assistants for all grades. There are too many kids for one teacher to give the individualized attention each child needs and deserves.

I have 2 daughters at Lakeville, one with academic difficulty. The staff at lakeville are incredible. The teachers are patient, understanding and very knowledgeable towards my daughter's needs. All her teachers have showed genuine interests in her success. The teachers are on top of everything whether the girls miss a day of school or an assignment. The school have a great 'no bullie policy' which goes hand in hand with school safety amongst students. The principle is very involve and shows great interest in her students. The school field trips are very educating and fun. I've had a great time chaperoning my daughters classes. My children and I love Lakeville elementary. I plan to move to another state next year and I hope to find a school as great and staff as dedicated as my children were blessed to have at lakeville.

I am so proud to be a Lakeville parent! This school is spectacular! I am so happy with the consistency of learning and parental involvement at Lakeville. The kids are learning what they need to know and not being bombarded with wasteful information. The staff is like no other. They are all top-notch! They are very friendly, I have yet to meet a rude person there. All staff members have gone above and beyond my expectations in so many ways, availability, timing, caring, even spending out of their own pockets! The specials staff is stupendous and they seem to be well supplied. I really look forward to another year with this school and a continued relationship with its staff. Thank you so very much to Mrs. Stutsman and all of the Lakeville staff for making my children's start in education a happy one so they may always enjoy learning.

My daughter transferred to this school in mid semester January 2005, and we have never been more satisfied with the overall quality not of the teachers, but all staff involved. We now have 2 daughters who are extremely proud of their school...and their parents are proud as well! -Leon Campbell

I have never found a school that is as informative and involved deeply in every child's education as Lakeville. No school is perfect and could work on things, but for the most part Lakeville is doing an outstanding job with outstanding teachers and I am honored to be a part of SAC and for my children to be students there. Kim Stutsman does a great job with her teachers, students, and parents and is the best principle I have ever known. Keep up the good work Lakeville, you get better every year.

Lakeville Elementary School is an awesome school. The staff really care about the students and the quality of education is fantastic. All I can say is that I am glad all three of my children have or are attending Lakeville.

They need to add a better playground and the children need to have 30 minutes of recess every day.And instead of having portables, they need to add to the existing school. The schools up North are better in alot of aspects, and I feel the things I mentioned above play a big part in this.

the quality of lakevill academic program is good but dont provide much help for kid who needs it.

I am satisfied with the school overall, but I do hope in the future the school will make wiser choices with some of their teachers. My daughter attended this school for 2nd and 3rd grade and her second grade teacher was just horrible, I do believe he is no longer there.

I have two children who graduated from there. Great school, teachers, and principal. You couldn't find a better school.

This school went from an A to a B and the reasons are very clear. The staff in this school just pass the buck and NEVER follow through on anything. They are more interested in calling DCF then teaching our children. It's a shame, but there are some really excellent teachers in this school, but are held back by an incompotant principal and supporting staff. Because of this, we are moving so my kids could get the best education possible.

Overall my daughter has been going to this school for 3 years and I've had no complaints. Everyone is very nice and helpful.

My name is Ramona Rodriguez and My sons name is Argenis Torres he has been in this school for two years, First and second grade,, this will be his 3rd year,, I think the teachers are great,, he had Mrs. Z and Mrs. Harden,, they were very helpful,,, Thank You for all your help !!

It is a relatively new school. The educational level is exceptional. The principal is more concerned with administrative areas than student welfare. After a recent busing accident in which the driver was cited, she blamed the hurt students for causing their own injuries during a schoolwide announcement.

i have three daughters that have attend lakeville in which two of them with special learning needs and the teachers and staff have gone out of there way to help them out..i only have one daughter left in lakeville in the third grade..she has come along way as she is reading on and above grade level now..i cant thank the teachers enough that have went above and beyond to help my children..i love that this school has a close nit community and feel like we are all family..i am gonna be soo sad when my daughter graduates from lakeville i am sure my daughter will be too.
