A beautiful big building to support it's almost 1300 plus students. Parents work one and two jobs, which makes it difficult to get 'involved'. The kids come from multi-language/multi-cultural families that contributes to medium to low functioning in school. The teacher are many times young teachers who move on because of marriage, husband careers and babies. The average stay may be impacted because of these reasons. Palmetto is an excellent school, with a dedicated staff and a wonderful, experienced, knowledgable principal. Come volunteer you help, donate monies, donate books, and become involved.
