Orlando Christian Prep Reviews

My daughter is attending vpk inthere she has a great teacher ms delarroco she is very caring and loving my daughter has really improved aince she started here i highly recommend it as a parent you are always welcome.

Lacks leadership but trying to improve

I am a parent of three children at OCP. I have one in each department, Elementary, MS, HS. They have all been extremely successful and have tested on the SAT's off the charts. Parents that are looking for a perfect school will never find one. It doesn't exist. OCP is the real deal. They are as interested in the student's academics as they are in their success in life. CAN'T GO WRONG!

My son has attended OCP since Kindergarten and will be a senior this year. He has not only received the best academic background, but also the most loving nurturing atmosphere with teachers and administration. This year Mrs. Bellwood has lead with integrity and encouragement and we're so proud to be OCP part of the OCP family

My two teens went to OCP last year after two years of home schooling. They said it was the best school year of their lives so far. We left to try a larger school but can't wait to go back to OCP next year. OCP is like a family to us, and they genuinely care about the students. They have great academics, but also as important is they want to develop the gifts and talents of each child. We noticed last year that all the kids find acceptance and friendship there. The lunches are amazing, and it's just a great school. The administration is one of the nicest and friendliest I've encountered! We've already re-enrolled for next year and plan to stay there!

I really believe with the new administration and the old president back, This school will become one of the prominent schools in Orlando once again. We went through so much last year, and now that we are out with the old and bad and in with the new I'll be proud to call myself an OCP graduate.

This is a year that this school is taking academics and over all excellence to the next level. I'll be proud when my students graduate from this school.

We have two children at OCP - one in PreK and the other in elementary. I can say both children have incredibly dedicated teachers and are excelling academically. The overall environment at OCP is one that fosters respect and consideration for students, teachers, staff and parents. OCP has made really made a strong effort to sharpen it's academic focus this year. We have been at OCP for 4 years now and are loyal to OCP!

This year at what is Orlando's oldest Christian school has seen many changes. There is a new administration that is so on top of things. There is a can-do attitude. They have hired a full-time security guard, who patrols the campus daily. Pastor Dave Janney is back as the pastor. The whole campus is exhibiting a uplifting positive attitude! The hight school acamenics are tougher.

I have two boys attending OCP's elementary classes. This school has a lot to offer my children and parents if they want to be involved. My children are achieving higher then their grade level, the teachers and staff are the most caring, the teachers are very well educated, and the discipline procedures are very fair. I will continue to be very involved and will continue to help the school achieve its goal with providing my children with the best educational and spiritual atmosphere a private school has to offer. Thank you very much OCP for being there for my family.

This school is very disorganized. Does not concentrate on safety issues. You can't count on some teachers on pulling through with things. Parents are rarely seen except in case of some substitutes.

The school was good at first wehn I started, but went down hill from their, at least for me. The teachers werent bad at all, but the people in higher authority werent the best in the leadership qualities. I left that school, cause it was not helping me achieve the academic success I needed to reach my goals. The cirriculum wasnt half bad, but it wasnt very in depth, like a public school clas would go into. The one major thing that I could say was good about the school was the drama, and fine arts program. I was apart of both, I competed in the fine arts and was an awsome experience, but once again that was the only high of school for me their. Parent involvement is extremely high! Never have I seen teachers caling parents fr the smallest actions their children make, which in som cases can be good, but other not. Overall the school itself isnt the best, but the people in it is what made it worth the while to waste.
