St. Luke's Lutheran School Reviews

Great school that treats children with respect and expects the same from them. My son has been going there for three years and we have never had an unpleasant experience. He does sports and is very active. This school is not for parents that are not interested in being actively involved in their children's progress. The amount of homework given is much more than that typical of public schools and I dare say more challenging. This is a five star school in my humble opinion.

Well run school. Website for additional information and communication is excellent.

Outstanding focus on academics delivered by a team of teachers and administrators who truly love your kids. Facility far exceeds any in the area and the blend of sports / clubs / academics / and christian based teaching ranks this school superb!

We have been at St Lukes for 5 years. Our children are well-rounded and speak of 'never wanting to go to any other school'. The school focuses on the 'whole' child from academics to character to the arts. The teachers and administration care deeply about their students and challenge each child to their academic ability. The options are almost endless for each child to be involved in an extra-curricular activity. The most important thing is that our children hear Christ's message each and every day and understand the difference between 'right' and 'wrong'. Our experience at St Luke's has been very positive!

We have been blessed to have all four of our children attend this wonderful school. Most of the teachers have been here many years and some of them were even students here. My oldest child has gone on to a public high school and is in all honors & AP classes. The academic standard is very high and she has a strong Christian moral base which she draws on daily. This school is not for everyone - only those who wish their child receive a strong Christian education and high academic standards!

We recently moved to the area and our child attended less than a month. She was threatened on the playground and had cuss words thrown at her by another student. The teacher didn't believe her and told me frankly she didn't know who else she would blame and accuse of next. This resulted in my 1st grader waking up at odd hours in the night coming to my room and begging me not to send her there. The final straw came when my daughter came home with cartoonish colored chinese astrology signs from art. My child exclaimed she was a BOAR proudly! As a Christian parent, making light of astology signs and thinking it's FUN goes totally against what I believe is true and right. I put my child there for reinforcement from what she is learning in the home about Christ. It was a poor choice.
