This place is always a must visit when my husband and I go to orlando. We just got back and during our 10 day visit managed to get to the Sushi house 3 times. Each time we had great food! David was our sushi chef every time we were in there and he made the best sushi I have ever had. The staff and chef were very nice and accommodating and made us special orders on our anniversary. I am looking forward to our next visit so we can return to this great restaurant!

Great Sushi and Atmosphere - Watch SUSHI CAM!!

We were here for the first time after reading the reviews, and although this is not the best location in the city, the inside is warm and romantic. They had good lounge type music, and about 5 tables in the early evening where we were there. I normally like to sit at the bar, but with 4 of us in the group, we decided for a table on the side. This gave us a great view of there Sushi Cam that shows the chefs making sushi live on TV. This was very clever and we have not seen anything like this. We started with the recommended seared tuna ($9), and when it arrived it was served by one of the chefs who actually seared right there at the table! We had a quick lesson on different sakes and decided on something in the middle, about $20 for the sake. It was good, even though I'm not a big fan of sake, but if you are into something different, get the flavored sake. We had the chilled raspberry sake by the glass ($6). The best item has to be the Red Dragon roll, a tuna roll with tuna sashimi and sliced jalapeno peppers on top. We finished with a sushi ice cream dessert. Very creative. If you are looking for a fancy ultra modern restaurant, this is not it. But if you are into good sushi and a great atmosphere with reasonably priced sushi, this is a great little place.

Pros: Good sushi variety, live sushi camera, good parking, great desserts, good prices

Cons: not for kids, no noodles.

not bad, but not great. go for the cooked entrees

I have to say some of these reviews seem to be very phony,i especially notice it when the writing style is the same for a majority of the reviews. anyways I went to sushi house pretty excited to only leave with a mediocre feeling. I wouldnt really waste the trip over here in a hurry to come for the great reviews. The parking lot was extremely packed because of the surrounding restaurants, but keep in mind this place is very tiny. It's actually good place if you like small joints, but not a great place for larger groups. the kitchn food is actually not bad, but sushi could be better. Tasted very warm for some reason, i like my tuna nigiris at a cool temperature and fresh. if you go try the chicken teriyaki. I might come back if im in the area, but there is a few sushi spots i heard of in that area i havent tried yet that i heard were pretty good.

Pros: dark atmosphere good for dining in small groups, chicken teriyaki

Cons: parking and sushi preparation

The best sushi in Orlando by far!!

This place is such a great find. We found Sushi House from our GPS visit Orlando and we were not disappointed. The place has great, fresh and creative sushi, friendly knowledgeable staff, and nice ambiance. We were promptly greeted at the door with a smile, and our server was great introducing us to our new delights. Food came out fairly quickly considering how busy it was, and they really know their sakes. Most restaurants carry 3 brands, while Sushi House has over 60 kinds! We are not big sake fans until we tried it here. We had the Red Dragon and the Sashimi Entree. Both were great, but my favorite has to be the tuna tataki appetizer where the chef came out to our table and served it to us. That was unexpected and it was fantastic. If you are looking for a nice sushi place when you visit Disney or any of theme parks in Orlando, you need to check out this place.

how did this place get any bad reviews?

i was obsessed with this place before i moved to chicago, and i still haven't found a place up here to match it. everything is so flavorful and the fish is always so fresh. the servers and the chefs are all so friendly and i've always had great service. every once in a while the food might come out a little slow, but relax, get a glass of wine and enjoy your dinner, its not a race. every person i've brought to this place or recommended it to has loved it and has gone back without me numerous times. my suggestions - sit at the bar, you get your food a little faster. try the emperor roll and the graduation roll - amaaazing.

Pros: great food, good prices

Cons: small parking lot
