A good place to spend an afternoon...

My wife and I have been to Leu Gardens a couple times, and we always enjoy it, even though were not gardening nuts.
The garden is very peaceful, and there're many places to sit and enjoy beautiful views. Every time we visit, there's something new to maintain our interest.
If you go, don't miss the tour of the Leu House (every 1/2 hour.) The best time to go is in Jan-Feb when the Camellias are blooming.
I you want to have lunch nearby, try the Panera Bread at Fashion Square Mall, or Athenian Garden Cafe on Orange Avenue.

It is definitely worth the admission fee, but I thought this was a rating of FREE attractions. Leu Gardens charges an admission fee which should be pointed out.

This is a nice place to relax and do a small picnic. You will find beautiful exotic plants. If you like that sort of thing you have to experience at least once. I don't care to go again, didn't think it was worth the money.

I loved the gardens!!! They were amazing! I walked around all afternoon- they were so peaceful. It was nice to get away from the crowds of Disney World and relax.

A very nice place to spend a relaxing morning or afternoon. Beautiful gardens to stroll through on paved walkways. Inexpensive family fun and Monday mornings before noon are free. The kids favorite is the clock garden. The rose garden and butterfly gardens are very nice too. I would avoid the afternoon heat of the summer, spring time is pretty there.
